Fees and settlement terms
This page explains the commercial structure of TensorRail Collect. The actual numbers for your account are set out in your commercial terms and Merchant Agreement. Figures below are marked as placeholders and are not offers.
The rates, minimums, and timings on this page are shown as placeholders. Your specific pricing is agreed with TensorRail and recorded in your fee schedule and Merchant Agreement. Ask TensorRail for a quote for your markets and volumes.
Fee components
TensorRail Collect has a small number of clearly separated fee components:
- Collection fee: charged when TensorRail collects a local-currency payment on your behalf. Typically a percentage of the collected amount, sometimes with a small fixed component, and it can differ by corridor and payment method. [PLACEHOLDER: collection fee per corridor / method]
- Settlement fee: charged when TensorRail settles balance to your USDT wallet. [PLACEHOLDER: settlement fee]
- Conversion component: where local currency is converted into your settlement/USDT terms, the applicable rate and any conversion margin apply. [PLACEHOLDER: conversion rate basis and margin]
- Other operational fees: for example fees related to complaint or dispute handling, or investigation costs, where they arise from activity on your side. [PLACEHOLDER: operational / complaint-handling fees]
TensorRail may deduct fees, and amounts owed to it, from your account balance or from settlements. This is described in your Merchant Agreement.
Settlement in USDT
- Settlements are paid in USDT to the wallet you saved and verified in the dashboard.
- The network for settlement is confirmed for your account. [PLACEHOLDER: settlement network]
- A minimum settlement amount may apply. [PLACEHOLDER: minimum settlement amount]
- Crypto settlements sent to the address you provided cannot be reversed by TensorRail, so keep your saved wallet correct.
Settlement timing
- Collections credit your account balance after they clear on the local rail. Clearing time varies by corridor. [PLACEHOLDER: indicative clearing time per corridor]
- Once balance is available, you can request a settlement, or use a scheduled settlement. [PLACEHOLDER: settlement schedule options / cutoffs]
- All timing is indicative unless TensorRail states in writing that it is guaranteed. Timing can be affected by banking hours, holidays, local rail behaviour, liquidity, and compliance or fraud review.
Reserves and holds
As an aggregation and settlement service, TensorRail may hold back part of your account balance to cover risk. A reserve or hold can apply for reasons such as elevated disputes or refunds, unusual volume, compliance or sanctions review, or a change in your risk profile. When a reserve applies:
- The reserved amount shows as held in your balance.
- TensorRail may apply held amounts toward amounts you owe it (for example fees, refunds, dispute costs, or losses caused by activity on your side).
- Reserves may continue for a period after your relationship ends, to cover late disputes and liabilities.
The specific reserve basis for your account is in your Merchant Agreement. [PLACEHOLDER: reserve basis and rate, if any]
Complaints, refunds, and disputes
You are responsible for your customers and for handling their complaints, refunds, and disputes. Where a refund, reversal, or dispute results in a deduction, TensorRail may deduct it from your account balance or from future settlements, or invoice you where your balance is insufficient. This allocation is set out in your Merchant Agreement.
Taxes
You are responsible for your own taxes arising from your use of TensorRail Collect, except where the law requires TensorRail to withhold or collect. [PLACEHOLDER: tax treatment specific to your jurisdiction, confirm with your own adviser]
